It's got really good energy and you can tell it's a family business run with love. The bed and the private bath were clean, spacious, comfy. The shared kitchen amenities and free coffee/tea were great and lots of stuff to cook and eat with. So many shared spaced intricately decorated and lots of curious objects and books to inspect. It was a great atmosphere, the location is triangulated by three nearby metro stations, and lots of shops, combini, and restaurants nearby. Overall the place was quiet and tidy despite it being a hostel and I didn't even have to see the host at check-in or check-out as we did everything over the phone from a landline I found when I got there, which made everything feel very smooth and easy. Would definitely stay again.

good location to train, park, market - place is giving you feeling of living in japanese traditional house - nice room (i own the room by myself for 1 night) - bed are big clean and private with personal light - room are just right size but there is big common space to keep or open and close big suitcase - laundry room & dry rack & dryer provided (extra charge) - hair dryer included in room - full kitchen equipment for cooking (refrigerator & basic cooking stuff provided ie oil seasoning sauce) - common area for eat & drink are big also with balcony - it also open as cafe during the day - stuff are flexible on checkin time please contact them in advance (my flight was delay)

As we had booked the 2 larger rooms for myself & my family, we also had our own bathrooms, so only had to share toilets. The staff were very welcoming, and helpful, and as this was a hostel, there were good communal spaces we could all use, incouding the kitchen. This meant we could make snacks and breakfast etc, (which helps with keeping costs down) and lots of free tea & coffee! Excellent value for money compared to `budget` hotels which have no facilities.

I stayed in the 4-person dorm, but really, it was more like two 2-people room connected by a shared wall, with a small curtained passage. There were two showers and limited bathrooms, but there was no wait time. The hostel is very close to the subway lines, but it is apparently near the red-light district. I didn't find it unsafe and would probably stay again as it is good value, but this may be something to consider. The staff/host were extremely nice.

Just wow. Hands down the most fun stay during our trip to Japan. BRILLIANT value for money, and super close to not one, but three stations. Tons of eateries nearby, my favourite were the stand-up udon shops! The rooms were tidy, and the bathrooms were clean, but what really sold the place was the common area- it felt really homely, and cheerful. It was such a good home base, to go out and about to explore- I'd love to come back to visit again sometime!
